An attractive 1838 no drapery, large stars, seated liberty dime graded XF 45 by NGC. It carries decent details for the grade with some pretty toning. We were told this coin is a better variety but can not remember the specific variety attribution.
This date holds a fairly high mintage of 1,992,500. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,250 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 16 graded Extra Fine 45 by NGC.
