A tough 1836 reeded edge key date capped bust half dollar graded AU-53 by NGC. This coin carries an excellent strike on both sides with very crusty original surfaces throughout both sides. A very appealing coin that has well earned the grade designation. This is the highest graded example we have ever offered for this date. It has been noted by NGC to be the GR-1 variety.
