It holds a fantastic strike with a very original golden patina that matches perfectly throughout the obverse and reverse. We believe this attractive coin could have easily ended up in a higher graded holder. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder and has been approved by CAC for quality. 

This classic head gold piece holds a small mintage of only 112,234. Of this small mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,750 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 95 graded About Uncirculated 50 by PCGS. It is also one of only eight approved by CAC for quality in this grade level.
