1829 10c Capped Bust Dime NGC AU 58 About Uncirculated CAC Approved Small 10c JR 6

A very attractive 1829 better date capped bust dime graded AU 58 by NGC. It carries a sharp strike with crusty original toned surfaces that match nicely throughout each side. This coin has been housed in an older style NGC holder and has been designated on their label to be the Small 10c variety and specifically the JR-6. It has also been approved by CAC for quality. This date holds a total mintage of 770,000. However, of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,000 have survived today for this 'small 10c' style. It is one of only two graded About Uncirculated 58 by NGC for this particular variety.
