An 1828 13 stars, classic head half cent graded AU 50 by PCGS. It carries a great strike throughout both sides with nice original surfaces. We believe the half cent series to a very underrated series as the values are very low compared to how low their mintage are as well as how hard they are to find. This date holds a low mintage of only 606,000. However, of this mintage this coin is one of only 3,000 that the PCGS Coin Facts have estimated that have survived today. This coin is one of only 126 graded AU 50 by PCGS.
