1826 1/2C Classic Head Half Cent PCGS XF 45 Extra Fine to About Uncirculated Low Mintage

A very attractive 1826 classic head half cent graded XF 45 by PCGS. It carries a strong strike with very attractive original surfaces. The half cent series is very under-rated and under-appreciated in our recommendation. This date holds a very small mintage of only 234,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,500 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 61 graded Extra Fine 45 by PCGS.
