1822 10C Capped Bust Dime PCGS VG 10 Very Good to Fine Colorful Toned Key Date

An absolutely gorgeous 1822 key date Capped Bust Dime graded VG 10 by PCGS. It holds strong full rims throughout both sides with some gorgeous colorful toning as shown in the photos provided. We would say the overall patina on this coin is most accurately shown in the third PCGS photo provided. This appealing coin has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. We would say the 1822 Capped Bust Dime is by far the toughest date to the entire Capped Bust Dime series. It holds a small mintage of only 100,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 200 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only seven graded Very Good 10 by PCGS.
