1820/19 50C Square Base 2 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS AU 50 About Uncirculated Toned

A beautiful 1820/19 capped bust half dollar graded AU 50 by PCGS. It holds a strong strike throughout both sides with attractive green and blue toning around part of the right side of the obverse rims. A very appealing coin that is seldom offered in an AU 50 grade level. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This date holds a fairly high mintage of 751,122. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 800 of these have survived that are the 1820/19 Square Base 2 variety. It is one of only 28 coins graded AU 50 by PCGS.
