A stunning 1817 15 stars, coronet head large cent graded AU 58 BN by NGC that is accompanied with a CAC sticker. This coin is by far the nicest 1817 15 stars large cent we have ever offered. It holds a very sharp strike with a hue of red among the obverse. It looks like this one could easily end up in a mint state graded holder in our recommendation. It is very mark free for the grade with completely original surfaces. This beautiful coin has been approved by CAC for quality. This Philadelphia mint date has a total mintage of 3,948,400. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,000 of these have survived that are this 15 stars style. It is one of only seven graded About Uncirculated 58 by NGC. It is also one of only five in total approved by CAC for quality in this grade.
