A sharply struck and nicely detailed 1816 first year US type coin for the Coronet head large cent series. This coin looks very strong for the grade and has some very interesting rim cuds that can be seen on the obverse at about 12:30 to 3 o' clock. A tough date to find in such decent condition. It is housed in an old small ANACS holder.
