A very attractive 1814 crosslet 4, classic head large cent graded VG 8 by PCGS. It carries decent details for the grade with very appealing original surfaces throughout both sides. This coin is what we would call the "Poster Child" for a very good grade classic head large cent. It has been approved by CAC for quality. This date holds a low mintage of only 357,830. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 33 graded Very Good 8 by PCGS. It is also the only one approved by CAC for quality in this grade level.
