1805/4 50C Draped Bust Half Dollar PCGS VF 30 Very Fine to Extra Fine Mint Error !

A tough 1805/4 draped bust half dollar graded VF 30 by PCGS. This coin looks closer to an extra fine grade level in our recommendation but we believe that PCGS took it down a few notches because it is a Mint Error coin. This coni has some obverse lamination on the left side of the date as shown in the photos provided. It has a great overall strike with very appealing original toned surfaces. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This Philadelphia Mint date has a total mintage of only 211,722. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 500 of these are the 1805/4 variety and have survived today. It is one of just 46 graded Very Fine 30 by PCGS.
