A beautiful 1799/8 draped bust dollar graded VF 30 by PCGS that has been approved by CAC for quality. This coin has been notated to be the 15 Reverse Stars style. It is one of the nicest looking draped bust dollars we have ever offered. It holds superior detail and looks like it could have easily graded higher. This beauty also holds very dark original toning that gives it a 'cameo' style look which is just gorgeous. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This draped bust dollar has a total mintage of 423,515. However, of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,000 have survived being this 1799/8 variety. It is one of just 40 graded Very Fine 30 by PCGS. It is also one of only nine having been approved by CAC for quality in this grade.
