This date is very popular among collectors as it was minted during the fist year of the series. It is seldom ever offered in this pleasing mid-grade. This attractive coin has been housed in a newer style NGC prong holder. This proof issue coin holds a tiny mintage of only 22,135. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 850 have survived in all grades. It is one of just 26 graded to be in 'Very Fine' condition by NGC.
