1795 $1 Flowing Hair Dollar NGC F 12 Fine Two Leaves Early American Type Coin

A very attractive 1795 two leaves, flowing hair dollar graded F 12 by NGC. This coin carries strong full rims throughout both sides with very attractive surfaces. The patina matches fairly evenly throughout both sides but is lighter on the reverse. This coin is the two leaves style which is slightly better than the three leaves style on the reverse. Lately, these have been very hard to come by in any somewhat 'affordable' grade levels such as this attractive coin. This coin holds a mintage of only 160,295. However, of this small mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 4,000 of these have survived in all grades today that are the two leaves variety such as this one. It is one of only 189 graded to be in Fine condition by NGC.
