1795 50c Flowing Hair Half Dollar NGC VF 35 Very Fine to Extra US Type Coin

A desirable 1795 flowing hair half dollar graded VF 35 by NGC. It has strong hair detail throughout the obverse and nice feather details on the reverse. This coin does have some minor adjustment marks near the middle of the obverse. A tougher U.S type coin to find in this mid-grade level. We have not determined it's specific variety but it does have two leaves on the reverse. This early American coni has a total mintage of only 299,680. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,500 have survived in all grades today. It is one of just 296 graded to be in 'Very Fine' condition.
