A desirable 1795 flowing hair half dollar graded F 12 by NGC. It has strong hair detail throughout the obverse and holds very nice appealing original toned surfaces. This coin is the perfect example for a fine graded flowing hair half dollar. It looks like it does have some minor adjustment marks around a few area of rim of the obverse. It has been notated by NGC to be the Overton 110A variety. This early American coin has been in strong demand among collectors.
This early American coni has a total mintage of only 299,680. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,500 have survived in all grades today. It is the only one graded F 12 by NGC with only four graded higher for this variety!
